I have just started a new column for the official English-language J.League website.
It is called “The Mixed Zone with…” and will feature interviews with J.League players and coaches.

Alberto Zaccheroni got off to a flyer on Friday night, guiding Japan to an exciting 1-0 victory over Argentina in his first match in charge.

As the JFA conducted their search for a new coach overseas, I wondered if they were wasting a lot of time and energy when there were a number of outstanding candidates already in Japan.
